An interesting combination of Japanese and a bit of everything (polish, med, french). Vegan ramen was absolutely delicious though could be more ramen in the bowl. The proportion and the choice of vegetables also very good. My portion of mussels definitely big enough to feed one but as it was served on a plate rather than in a bowl, was difficult to eat and the sauce was not very well combined with the mussels. Sauce itself good enough but I had the taste that I was eating mussels alone. Bread served with it not fresh. You should serve with mussels baguette or demi-baguette, not sliced ordinary white bread. After the dinner my wife tried donut with coconut glazing, an absolute hit! MOD actually is famous for the donuts which they make in the place. So overall, stick to ramen and donuts, you'll be happy. Extra point:white wine was very well chilled.

Every time I come to Warsaw, I make sure to stop here at least once. Do not listen to people who write about “oily” ramen. Ramen is NOT your common soup. There is different types of ramen, some have more, some less aroma oils. If you don’t like it, take one that is heavier on vegetables and has less or no animal fat. They offer a vegan version here and the Matcha ramen. If you see oil in your ramen, it does not mean it’s “bad” ramen. Just give your bowl a good stir so that the aroma oil is mixed into everything and does not sit on top of your ramen in one layer. Most of their dishes are great here while I tend to stick with their Tantanmen ramen (chicken based). I also tried their donuts this time. Very good, with a nice rise (not heavy at all), even though the glaze was a tad too sweet.

Donut roulette, who will get what? What reactions will there be? Who picked the best / worst donut? Overall, Oreo wasn’t anything special, just crushed up Oreo’s on top of a donut. It was sweet, so we enjoyed it. Salty caramel donut, fun flavors, who doesn’t have two opposing profiles? Quite tasty. The winner was biscoff donut, having an interfering interior and crunchy outside, definitely was all of our favourites. I once tried a dark chocolate donut and I absolutely loved it, never found it again in the store (you have to come early). Oh how I love donut roulette, we share the flavors of three for the caloric terrorism of one, you must try it with your friends. Definitely the best donuts in Warsaw. Thank you MOD 🍩 🔫 p.s. loved the rituals collaboration, I still have the hand cream 🙏

Mod is an absolute gem for any food enthusiast, especially those with a penchant for vegan cuisine. Their vegan ramen options are a revelation – a delightful fusion of traditional flavors and innovative culinary twists. The standout for me was their matcha ramen; it’s a unique, flavorful dish that tantalizes the taste buds in the most unexpected yet delightful way.

But it’s not just the food that shines at Mod. Their selection of natural wines is exceptional, offering a perfect complement to the meal. Each wine I tried was a hit, showcasing their commitment to quality and variety.

The staff at Mod are top-notch, too. They’re knowledgeable, friendly, and add to the overall dining experience with their attentive service. It’s clear they’re passionate about what they do, and it shows in how they interact with customers and present the dishes.

The interior of Mod is another aspect that deserves high praise. It’s stylish, comfortable, and adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. The ambiance is just right for a casual lunch or a more extended dinner.

And let’s not forget the doughnuts! They’re the perfect sweet treat to end your meal on a high note. Mod has truly mastered the art of combining diverse elements – from vegan ramen to natural wines, and from matcha-infused dishes to delicious doughnuts – to create a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality, taste, and a...

Yo fam, lemme tell you 'bout this violation I just patterned.

So man pulled up to this dead ting of a donut shop, tryna grab a sweet treat innit – man ordered a glazed donut with that sugar cream flex and a nice hot tea to rinse it down proper.

Tell me why, these wastemen served man a donut lookin' like it took a money shot straight outta a dodgy film, bruv. No glaze, no cream – just mad questionable sauce lookin’ like the donut got violated in the back kitchen.

Then, the tea... nah G, this weren't no PG Tips. Man sipped it and I swear down, that was hot piss, straight from the tap. Warm and tangy like someone had asparagus last night. And the worst part? Bare little floaty bits chillin’ at the bottom like it was tryna be bubble tea but from the sewers. Proper biohazard levels, fam.

Trust me, this weren’t no sweet tooth moment – this was a public health crisis. Bun that place, man nearly rang NHS 111 mid-bite.

-10/10, would rather munch...
