We heard a lot of good things about this cafe so our expectations were high- but the experince and coffee did not live up to the hype. We went multiple times to give a fair opinion, and as a coffee lover of over 20 years I would not go out of my way to visit but would stop in on a walk by if I wanted coffee. Our lattes were warm and weak. When I ordered a regular americano type coffee with a side of cold milk I got hot milk pored in...I hate that. Treat options at the time not great. Sidewalk seating is not relaxing or comfy and inside seating was taken up by laptops and people using a table for 4 for themself! Very selfish unaware patrons. The employees should be monitoring this behaviour and dealing with it. As many of these digital no-bodies are entiled these days and need to be told that coffee shops are not their office space! I often wonder if management realizes the potential loss of revenue that occurs due to groups of new customers, either walking out or changing their in-dining visit- with the potential of more revenue from a second drink or another treat- to a single visit revenue...

Moreover, the coffee and matcha are both underwhelming, especially for the price, and the word on the street about this place. The matcha they use is unusually bitter. However, the latte art is pretty, so there’s that.
Also, the café is often engulfed in many scents, feses amongst the worst, fresh grounded coffee amongst the best. Talk about variety!
Lastly, the policy forbidding the customers from using their laptops on the weekends is unreasonable and its purpose is unclear. Hogging the cafe is still doable, as we can observe by the actions and durations of the stay of other customers. The policy isn’t stated clearly, which is misleading. The service is pretentious about informing their customers about the policy when spotting a laptop in sight.
The pastries are very tasty.
Overall, the cons heavily outweigh any pros of this place, which only really consist of good pastries and nice music, and the pretty latte art (on mediocre drinks, which I presume cancels out). To conclude this, I...

Come here multiple times a week. My order is a lactose free flat white, extra hot (warm coffee is not it for me). If not a flat white, then an americano. Both in my opinion are perfection. The lactose free milk that they use (the brand and the fat percentage) is just ideal. Those who use a different milk fat percentage, or even a different brand, their coffee tastes completely different. I found that those who use higher fat percentage milk makes it taste sweeter. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Very unique and unconventional choice of pastries, each one being a 10/10. Quality over quantity so to say.
The only con is difficulty with parking, but no big deal as coming here on foot is worth it. Especially with summer...
