SEN NIGHTLIFE — Restaurant in Warsaw

All in all: The location is very well designed and has a beautiful view over the stadium and the wisla river. The food is maximum middle class sushi, the service is alright, they try to compensate the medium service quality by employing good looking women. Prices are way over the top for the food but I guess thats what you sign up when visiting a place like SEN.

I ve been to SEN last weekend because a friend recommended it to me. We arrived and had a table for dinner reserved. Everything worked out very well, garderobe and guidance to the table were very nice.

The table wasnt very good even though its position in the room was good (centered) but it was a high table with nothing to lean against to it was more like a fast food feeling even though we were apparently dining in one of the more fancy restaurants in warsaw. But since we were only three guests, they refused to let us sit in the more cosy looking spots eight at the window.

The menu was quiet underwhelming containing only a hand full of sushi rolls and menus to share, three quiet boring starters and uninteresting signature rolls. The menu itself is not printed on a single card but on multiple ones which was quiet annoying being three people on a very small table dealing with three menus each.

After being ignored for about 10 minutes after being seated the waiter took our Aperitif order which we also used to order our food directly. We had the Gyoza twice to share and afterwards went for a 4 people sushi platter.

The starters were very small in portion size and were too gold which is why I assume they were already prepared in the kitchen earlier and just heated up again. Tastewise they were very good.

All in all the quality and freshness was of course up to sushi standards, refreshing and had the typical taste of western sushi to it. What really was annoying were again the portion sizes. We were three grown up men and the menu consisted of only 42 rolls which we thought could be alright because many restaurants also include bigger rolls. At SEN they did not which is a bit sad since in the menu it said four person portion which is either for size A models or a joke.

Afterwards we ordered two portions of the Gyozas again which were again half cold.

Throughout the night we had multiple cocktails which were all very good but sadly they couldnt serve us espresso martini but they said they ran out of coffee liquor which is of course fair and wont be taken into account in this rating.

We arrived at SEN at about 21:15 and it was still too early if you want to dine with people surrounding you. Until ten we and a group of people on the other side of the restaurant were the only guests and still the service was only average and the atmosphere was like the service was only preparing the restaurant for the clubbing later which created a bit annoying vibe. The music was cool (they has a live drummer) but was too loud considering the fact only 10 people were there in the beginning.

After the drinks we also went for dessert which i assume to be bought somewhere since it was the type of lifeless dessert you would get at every ,,wanna be fancy“ restaurant in big cities.

After desert we left even though we originally planned on partying at SEN but we received a 210€ bill at the end of the dinner which considering we only had middle class sushi and a couple of drinks would even be high for German standards.

All in all I wouldnt recommend SEN for going to dinner. It is the typical restaurant that looks fancy on the first view but has many small errors when looking at thing in closer detail.

When it comes to partying I cannot review this place yet but since people were very beautiful on average and the place has a sick location I think the possibility of having a great time drinking at SEN could be pretty high.

Still over all rating 2/5. Im sure you can do better! Employ some actual caring waiters for the restaurant area for the early hours at least, go down with the food prices, go up with the bottle prices (thats where the margins...

Last night with friends we were at this terrible club! My negative experience started from the entrance line. It was raining and we asked a “manager guy” if we can wait under the roof, he said “I don’t care because I’m also staying under the rain” (it’s his job though!), so he said that rules are rules and you need to wait outside no matter what kind of weather it is. When I asked for an umbrella ☂ they just started laughing. After 20 minutes of waiting outside, hostess said that we can enter the club only if we take a table, deposit was 1000 PLN, we agreed . So after paying deposit outside under the rain 🌧, wet and without any mood we took a sit and made an order (we order bottle of Veuve Clicquout), after we finished our champagne we decided to order some cocktails 🍹 but waiter said that if you have a table you can only drink alcohol which is served by bottles and he can bring one more bottle of champagne 🤦🏻‍♀️🍾. When I told him and want to talk to a manager, in 2 minutes cocktails 🍸 were immediately available for ordering. And the most absurd thing happened when we were leaving the club , at the exit we met a different security man who had an umbrella ☂ in his hands and even was helping customers to get to the cars with it. In conclusion, we paid money and in return we got only negative emotions and bad experience. So we will never be back there and I strongly don’t recommended this...

I have been to Warsaw about 100 times... I have booked tables in Warsaw about 300 times. I wanted to congratulate the gentleman who does the selection at the entrance... who makes us wait 20 minutes (despite we had a reservation as always) without giving any explanations and without any reason and then not letting you in... just because he said that we were "just men". Just 3 btw! I'll start by saying that we weren't drunk at all and we were well dressed (much better than the guy who selects). I have been to this place several times. the first time at the inauguration. even though we had a table reservation this was the attitude probably just to have 5 minutes of glory. Don't be surprised if the place only has negative comments. that is, there are only questionable boys and girls. you are not in New York or Las Vegas where, by the way, I have always entered all the places... I wish you all the best dear Philip (provided that this is really your name) a brilliant career like "selection man" waiting for u. if "just men" is not part of the club's policy, you should communicate it in the email or on the official website. avoiding people wasting time (I assure you that mine is much more precious than that of the gentleman at the entrance). for everyone who will read... there are definitely better places and/or with...
