I was very disappointed by this place. I heard about it a lot, as its an mega trendy place. Unfortunately, because of its popularity there was a big queue and we had to wait. I normally wouldn't, and go to other restaurant, but my friends were really pushing to go to this one, as the food is so good. Because of the crowd, the service was not very good and the place to sit too - we were squeezed at a small table with no place for bags. We ordered the food, each one different ramen. Mine, with miso, was eatable, but nothing more (so salty it was hard to stand). I changed with my boyfriend that had different taste, but the broth once again was rather average and the additives not very good. MY friend ordered the one with sea weed and this one I liked. I came out with the idea I don;t like ramen, but after that I tried some other vegan ramens in Warsaw and they were delicious. My friends though like it a lot and come there frequently. I am giving 3 * for the food and subtract one for the service and place, so only 2* for the...
Read moreMy two experiences have been perfect. I'd eat there more often if I could. I need an apartment nearby. Edited Review of the New Location: Great food **, very good service *, RIDICULOUS MANAGEMENT POLICY (minus several million stars). I arrived before they opened today with a friend and we were allowed to sit inside out of the cold to wait; which was nice of them. Another friend joined us making a table of three. Things were going swimmingly at that point. Unfortunately, when four surprise guests arrived and we uncomfortably put two tables together, the RIDICULOUSNESS began. A 'service charge' applied to a table of more than five. I promise to tell everybody I know not to go to Vegan Ramen until you change this RIDICULOUS policy. We came to spend money at your establishment and you decided to punish us. RIDICULOUS I'll be going to a different ramen...
Read moreI didn't realise it before I went, but this place looks like one of the outlets of the "Vegan Ramen Shop" chain that are popping up around Warsaw. But each outlet has a slightly different flavour of spicy miso soup that appeals to the customers and also makes the staff proud. These restaurants have various types of ramen soup that are incredibly tasty as vegan soup. The staff are friendly too. I totally agree that they are very popular in Warsaw.
Of course, I didn't photograph such a scene, but it was also funny to see one of the waitresses eating her new soup-less ramen behind the counter during her break. It is a sign of a good restaurant when the food is loved by the staff as well.
