Zapiecek — Restaurant in Warsaw

We went there for a dinner and got really disappointed by flaki ( it tasted as bad as it smelled), so we just tried and didn't touch it, so manager can check the food. We asked to delete it from recepite and got "no" with some terrible attitude. We asked for a recipe to make sure that it's the way how it's supposed to be and manager said that can't do that ( we can't be familiar with ingredients that we are eating and paying for?). I didn't want any fight out of it, and was asking it nicely, but manager was really nervous and couldn't handle the situation, and was really making irrelevant statements. By the way food there is NOT BEING FRESHLY COOKED, one of the statements was that she actually tried the exact same flaki from the tray couple of hours ago, and food that they are serving is being cooked once in a day in equivalent of 10 kg. Although we did wait quite a long time to bring the attention to have a place to sit in the beginning, and at the end to get a receipt, nobody came until I went there to ask...

Such a very nice experience! Great pierogi food, and ditto service! I came in by total coincidence (well, apart from that I felt it was time to look out for a place to eat...), and was greeted by this wonderful smile! As I told her as I was leaving, who can resist when you're given such a welcome!? Then, a blonde in the same yellow dress with flowers (good job, designer) AND very nice, served me. I said that I thought I had seen the dish included bread (but reminded myself it was the bigos), - viola, bread arrived! All in all, very well done! You should make the place look more tempting from the outside, perhaps? But then again, this is a restaurant in the suburb, and the locals knows about the treasure, I am sure. If I ever can, I...

We came here on the very last day of our trip to Poland, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our entire stay. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was everything we hoped for — classic Polish dishes made with care and full of flavour. From the pierogi to the hearty mains, everything felt authentic and comforting.

What really stood out was the staff. They were kind, attentive, and spoke perfect English, which made everything smooth and stress-free. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taken care of. It was the kind of experience that stays with you long after the meal is over.
