You know the food is good and has quality when you find the family who own the restaurant eating there :) I noticed the restaurant when returning from another restaurant near by and made a note to visit.
I visited the restaurant with my daughter, and we ordered shawarma with rice on the side and an Arabian salad. Should specially mention that the rice is out of the world, full of flavour (may be the butter/ghee) and one among the best I ever tasted. The dish is served with a good quantity of shawarma, a large bowl of rice, pickled vegetables, and thick garlic yogurt sauce. To my Indian palate, I would've liked it even better if the shawarma was a bit spicy. Not complaining, just mentioning my preference. Of course, we still enjoyed the plate of food. 5/5 for the shawarma plate.
The Arabian salad was nice too, with grilled olives and all other salad veggies. The 'Arabian sauce' dressing was quite sour for our liking. We ate the vegetables though. It's a 4/5 for the salad.
For dessert, we had sweet balls made of dates and some cookies. OH.. the cookies were amazing.
I would visit the restaurant again to try other...

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality that feels like an embrace from home. Now, the food—oh, where to start! Every dish is a symphony of flavors. The hummus is silky smooth and perfectly balanced, while the falafels are crispy on the outside and soft, herby goodness on the inside. They just simply transport you straight to Damascus with every bite.
Paired with a cup of authentic strong Arabic coffee, it’s a delight.
The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to share the stories behind the dishes, making the experience even more special. This restaurant isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a celebration of Syrian culture and tradition.

Read moreIn summary; I ate in silence with my partner, and in this case silence speaks a thousand words. Finally a proper shawerma spot. I went for the beef since they were out of chicken, and it was amazing. This is the real deal, not some kebab pretending to be shawarma. They’ve got the traditional drinks for the fasting season, liquorice, Jalab and Tamr Hindi. Made just like my grandma from Damascus. The yalangi was fresh and tasty, and you can tell they make everything from scratch—no leftovers here. Running out of menu items shows how fresh it all is, and I love that. It’s all about quality, not quantity. The grilled kibbeh was also a hit. The staff were kind and while the place might not look like much from the outside, the inside feels like a little treasure. My only note is that the beef shawerma could use a bit more sauce—maybe on the side—but even without it, the meat was juicy and flavourful. Thank you for a bringing back a...
