Unfortunately, I was met with a waiter responding to my simple question "do you accept credit cards", with a terribly bad attitude. He was not our waiter, but happened to pass by, so I asked (checkered pants, blue eyes, tall waiter). He asked me, what do I mean, and why wouldn't they accept all credit cards except for AE. Then he smirked, rolled his eyes, and really quickly walked away seemingly bothered by my question while shaking his head. Well, you need training as a waiter! This is not the way to treat your guests! The waiter's reaction was outrageous to me, and I almost left, except for my kids being hungry after we drove 7 hours from the south of Poland. Very arrogant and rude reception, moments after we sat down. We could not eat in other parts of the city where we checked, because credit cards were not accepted. We went there on Saturday for breakfast, and everything was first-class — and not expensive at all. Our waiter, Daniel (or Danielle), was extremely dog-friendly. We were a larger group with three dogs, and each pup got its own water bowl, perfectly sized.

Just for fun, I asked if they might serve a breakfast Negroni at 9:30 a.m. — we already knew the restaurant from last year and remembered the cocktails being excellent in the evenings. He laughed and said, “Why not?” — and promptly brought one to the table.

All in all: highly recommended. And if you go, ask for Daniel — a younger, slim guy with slicked-back, slightly grey hair. He really made our morning!
