D'gustar Restaurante Café — Restaurant in Abrantes

At First we had a nice service even if the starters they placed on the table were delicious we had no idea of the price. We ordered some nice starters but the octopus salad was not even in the top 1000 that I have already tasted before. I asked for a Bife à Portuguesa. Comes in a metal plate where it should cook but this one was dead cold, surrounded by slices of home made potato chips with a large steak ( around 350 Grrr) hard as if it was cut from the horns of the cow, full of nerves - asked rare came well done! The pig salted ham on top leaked to the steak making it uneaten and the ham itself … omg pure salt. Ofc I just ate the chips. The service after seeing my plate full have not asked me anything about it. A real bad service bad quality and sample of how not to cook. I really recommend that they should try to change the chef and the staff. The restaurant name is D’gustar I can only say with all my heart it was a “D’sagosto”.

!AVISO À SOCIEDADE! Numa passagem por Abrantes vim a este restaurante. Até esperei pela reabertura porque queria vir a este espaço. Reabertura, possivelmente depois de um período de férias, no dia de hoje 24/07/2023. Lamentável comer pão duro, não solicitado, que vinha a acompanhar um prato de (6) gambas, mas na verdade o cesto era pago à parte (total: 11,50 - 9,50 por 6 mini gambas mais o pão duro 2€). Também pedimos uns ovos rotos que vinham com mais de uma colher de sopa de óleo. Pedimos um vinho com um preço na carta, quando na conta vinha um valor 5€ acima. Como prato principal pedimos uma picanha que veio acompanhada de batatas COZIDAS em óleo, para não falar da carne bem passada demais.

NOTA: Esta crítica nunca viria parar aqui se quando no final mostramos descontentamento e este foi ignorado.

Podem comer bem melhor pelo mesmo preço em Abrantes,...

A surprise, tasty, well presented and different but familiar menu. Like the house steak, couldn't get enough of the sauce. Good portions so value for money. Good service, good atmosphere with music. Wish they keep it up...
