This place seems to be a very popular restaurant, and I can completely understand why! The service was great, and every single waiter/waitress took their time to make us feel at home in this lovely restaurant. They also spoke English really well!

The desserts my family and I had here are also without a doubt the best we’ve ever had. When you ask to see the dessert menu, you don’t just get a menu pushed into your hands. A waitress comes by and shows you all the options, explaining which dessert is what.

We had the cheesecake (which I included a picture of), tiramisu, flan and also a ben & jerrys (they also serve those, which are great for picky eaters!). They were all amazing. Later, after inquiring if the desserts were home-made or not, we found out they make these absolutely amazing desserts themselves too!

1 hour and still waiting for our food. Waiter offered to bring us bread and completely forgot. Asked 3 times when our food would arrive and was told it’s fresh, it takes time.My teenage kids are now falling asleep. When the food final arrived it was good but then any food would have tasted great after 1 hour 15 minutes wait, shame but total ruined my evening and we won’t be back again. I hope it was not because we are British’s. We were sitting by the entrance to the kitchen so the waiters had to pass us all the time and after a while they kept on looking at us as like your still here?. ……….Ignore my remark about being British it was just that I was so angry at being ignored/forgotten/ bad service and I noticed that everybody was Portuguese and (which is a good indication that the food is authentic and good) I am sure that was not the case, just my bad luck that I received...

An excellent restaurant overall! Being on vacation we had lost track of the day and arrived shortly after opening time (6:30) on a Saturday without a reservation. They seemed a little concerned but seated us anyway. Reservations recommended. I had the tuna cakes as an appetizer which were delicious, my friend was less impressed with his shrimp salad although it was still very good. My friend and I shared a sea bass we had picked from the display at the front, expertly prepared and de-boned for us at the table, we chose the roast potatoes and steamed vegetables to accompany it. There was a good wine list and the waiter was helpful in choosing one to complement our meal. Dessert was an almond tarte for me and chocolate mousse for my friend, both were fabulous.
