Apolonia is a supermarket chain in Portugal, that also has a cafe with a pretty diverse menu. It's clean and cute, the service was great. They serve cold and hot food/snacks/treats (including ice-cream)
Soup of the day: I took the soup of the day which was a chicken soup with pasta shaped like small peas. It was well seasoned to my taste, did not need more salt.
Pastel de nata: they are visibly baked in tin foils instead of the traditional portuguese mold. The crust was super crispy and flaky, but the egg part was very runny and even tasted mildly like raw batter to me. Maybe it was a bad batch, but wouldn't buy here again despite the price of 0,75€ per unit.
Bifana: pork steak sandwich, barely tasted the butter, pork was not seasonned but wasn't too dry. The pork came out piping hot but was laid on cold untoasted bread. The staff kindly put it on the panini grill upon our request. The toasting didn't make it that much better though. A relatively bland sandwich.
The coffees are an play price and aren't too small. The ice cream is the cheapest I've seen in Portugal yet. This cafe is not a bad choice for certain items. The service...

To make things worse, the coffee was terrible—cold and bitter. Overall, a very...

He helped two separate tables next to me and skipped me. I got up and went up to him and told him why did you help them, but not me? He replied, “I’m sorry I will with you soon.” 8 minutes later and still no help to buy a slice of cake/pie. Very disappointed at...
