I had a takeaway meal for two people. Chicken chow mein with egg fried rice and a pork chow mein with egg fried rice and 2 meat spring rolls. 21 euros the lot. The chicken chow mein contained very, very little meat. There were strands of grated carrot and a little onion as the vegetable content of the dish. Thread noodles were the main stay of the dish. There was no sauce and the food tasted of the oil in which it was fried. Visibly it was a plain beige serving. The pork chow mein wasn't much better really. Very little meat and vegetable content and looking and tasting bland. The meat content of each dish consisted of very small , thinly sliced pieces of meat with little taste so it was difficult to tell the difference between them. The spring rolls were nice and tasty. In all a pretty disappointing takeaway experience. Small portions, poor content, and definitely not value for money. I will not be going back...

We got there by hazard and got happy - mainly for two reasons: Sam, the Waiter For the first time in our two-week round-trip, we've been treated not as mass tourists, but with absolute polite and attentive respect as we were the only guests and as he had waited just for us. A friendly conversation, helpful suggestions, always at hand without being pushy. This guy is born for his business, a merit for every restaurant. We did not expect this professional quality at this place and did not get it an many other places where you may expect it.
The food: I had Chicken Szechuan, "spicy and crispy". And that's the perfect description, period. I never had a better one in any country, it was exactly just as it should be.
So glad we dropped in by chance! Whenever I happen to be around again, I'd try to get back to Restaurante...

The drinks came out promptly and 5 minutes later our starter, spring rolls. Well, the spring rolls looked like they had been deep fat fried in old chip fat then driven over by a car. They were flat. Never seen spring rolls like that before. They were very greasy. My wife only ate half of her one. For mains my wife had beef curry and fried rice. I had chicken on a hot skillet with fried rice and chips. The fries were over cooked to the point they were really hard. My meal was very bland in flavour and so was my wife's beef curry. There was no atmosphere in the restaurant. No music playing in the background? Really not a...
