La Nostra Pizza — Restaurant in Albufeira

The best pizza in forever! So tasty, and everything was served with a smile - and so courteously! I really want to give this place 5 stars across the board, but the one thing it can’t do anything about unfortunately, is its roadside location. Thus, that one component has to earn only 3.5 honest stars from me. But remember, I give 5.0 for everything else!!! While fronting the road does mean it will be less quiet than some would like, it was actually very comfortable on their little outside terrace. So don’t be put off. There is also a (very small) dining space inside, and everything in there just looked really nice. So that seems a good option in my view for those who might want it. Finally about the furnishings: the tables and chairs inside and out - were all new. Now, let’s get back to what’s really important in a pizza place - the pizza! The half ‘n half pizza I had was absolutely fabulous. Additionally, the pastas I saw being served looked very tasty and seemed to be delivering really healthy portions. As to the service, the owner was doing table service and she was very friendly and patient. While she may have limited English language skills, there was zero problem with our communication. And heck, I’m embarrassed to say that I have no Portuguese at all! So I absolutely can’t talk — this IS Portugal after all!!! And finally… for many this is something that is way too often overlooked in review scoring: the bathrooms. They were absolutely spotless. Fantastic food! We were a walk-in take-away order of garlic and cheese Pizza bread, Chicken Caesar salad, Bolognese, Carbonara, Pepperoni Pizza and a second build your own pizza. Sat on the terrace while we waited for all food to be freshly cooked with a couple of drinks and the very friendly and helpful staff let us know when our order was ready (around ten minutes, we happily watched the F1 on large screens while we waited). Very bad experience..i was sick two days after taking the pizza..disgusting. Be careful of the postif reviews. First time the pizza was ok but second time when the crowd is here, the quality is worst and the priority is given to the customer who take a lot of pizza. The average time to get the pizza is 1 hour and i was with three kids so not suitable for the family.
