Bello Piatto — Restaurant in Albufeira

❤️ Oh my. What a beautiful restaurant. We have been spending the winter months in the Algarve, Guia area for 2 years now. Came across this restaurant whilst out on a walk and what a find. The food is sensational. Compliments to the chef. ❤️ Marina is a delight. She is so welcoming and helpful, there is nothing she does not know about the food and a good wine to accompany it. 😍 I am literally working my way through the menu, there is such a huge, fantastic choice. Pizza, Pasta, Steaks, Starters and oooh the desserts 😍 Every single time I have thoroughly enjoyed what I’ve eaten and drank. This is by far our favourite restaurant in the area. We have many friends visit us whilst staying here and we take them all. Each and every one of them have also said it is by far, the Best Italian restaurant they have ever been too. We had booked a table on recommendation of a friend of people we were dining with. We were seated and told to access the menu via their website. After several attempts I finally managed it, but not an ideal start (COVID or no COVID). To be honest the service was terrible. Not the fault of the Servers as there were two of them for a full restaurant. I ordered Pesto Bruschetta which was two pieces of focaccia with a small bowl of homemade pesto. I like salt but the pesto was so salty I could only just eat it. One friends main was burnt. Complain we should have but we were conscious of not wanting to upset our friends evening. Arrived with a group of 8, ordered starters and mains. Starters arrived, but mains didn't arrive till aymeast 1 hour later. A group that arrived at least 30mins later got there mains before us 'because they were a smaller group's. I run a business, why does our group size matter?

Raised a complaint, the manager /owner was particularly rude/sarcastic dealing with us, and no one came after to offer any drinks.
