Overall i would rate this place a 2.5 but rounded up to 3. I ate here based on the reviews of the steak, with some saying its the best T-bone they have had out here. So I ordered this and unfortunately, it is in my bottom ten for steaks. I had olives to start, which were pretty good, and one of our party had the traditional Cooper pot Portuguese dish, which was great (wish I had ordered this instead, and this is the only reason the rating is not lower). The venue is clean and presentable, the waiter was very friendly and funny, which did boost the rating up for me too. The deserts were good, best part for me. I think if I went back and had the Portuguese dish, I would probably have rated this 4 or higher, but the steak was soo bad (we had a few in the party) that I couldn't rate this any higher. Came there a few weeks ago. The suroundings we nice and beautiful, however, from the moment we sat down, we could heard an old woman that seems to work there yelling some name I'm assuming to call a waiter, that for me disturbed the in-the-beginning good atmospher. But we didn't pay much attention since the waiting staff was nice and friendly. At first we ordered a big sangria and it came full of ice. I have been to many restaurants around here and i've never seen a jar so filled with ice, it was even hard to serve the drink around. We ordered pizzas and they were no more then mediocre. For desert we each ordered different cakes and my friend complained that his was a bit dry. They also took quite long to come out since at night the restaurant got more crowded and I believe they were understaffed and so, unable to keep up with demand. My husband isnt able to leave a review but he wanted me to share his review: This is our favourite restaurant in Albufeira. We have been going for years and we recently visited on three occasions during our holiday in May this year 2022. The steak menu has changed this year , though we got the t bone steak which is still the best steak I’m albufeira. We also tried the steak burger on a separate occasion for the first time and it was the best burger we had had in albufeira . I’m a big fan of the deserts and love the chocoloco , it’s very delicious .
