My #1 spot to go for a seafood platter for the best price in town! Adorable restaurant at the very top of the Strip road- tucked away. Everything you eat will be fresh and delicious! Noel is a true mixologist - 30 years in the business and he can thrill you with his expertise. Make reservations it’s a small, popular restaurant. Went for a Fado dinner last week & It was a thrilling experience. The menu green soup w chorizo (the traditional soup served for Fado) mussels in a gorgeous broth, octopus rise, lamb stew & Portuguese cake with passion fruit. All of the food was served family style & there was plenty for 4 hearty eaters! The lamb stew was the highlight for me with, the sauce was crazy delicious- & at the bottom of the pot thick slices of bread that had soaked up all of the goodness. Beyond finger licking good!!! Luis Manhita thrilled & impressed us with his performances. He & the two amazing guitarists love what they do & are true performers. We were surprised with a special treat as Ines the gorgeous woman who owns Jardim Rustico, sang Beautiful Fado too. She too is an amazing artist that invokes your spirit. Another note, Noel & Ines worked the room of 50 guests the whole evening & service was impeccable. So thankful this dynamic restaurant is in the...

If you’re anywhere near Albufeira and don’t eat at Jardim Rústico, you’re truly missing out. We spent a month in the Algarve and ended up dining here at least 10 out of 30 nights. We kept trying to find another restaurant that could compare—and never did.
The food is authentic Portuguese cuisine at its finest. The clams, made from the owner's grandmother’s recipe, are hands-down the best I’ve ever had in my life. Honestly, it doesn’t matter what you order—everything on the menu is exceptional. Be adventurous. You won’t regret it.
The restaurant is family-owned and family-run, which adds so much to the experience. Vitor runs the kitchen and delivers incredible food every single night. His wife Ines runs the front with grace and warmth. Luan and Joah were there every evening we visited, offering some of the best service we’ve ever experienced anywhere—professional, kind, and genuinely caring.
The ambiance is casual, quiet, and cozy—it truly feels like home. Every guest is welcomed like family, and this incredible team goes above and beyond to make each night memorable.
If you go (and you absolutely should), tell them the Fanellas from Florida sent you. Jardim Rústico is a gem, and dining there was one of the highlights...
Read moreFour of us visited this place based on Tripadvisor reviews. What a mistake! We love traditional Portugese food and have been visiting Portugal for years however this place is not one of our better experiences. It is very expensive and low quality food compared to elsewhere. The starter of stuffed clam (singular) had what can only be described as toast topper on it (mushroom and ham), really not good value for eight euros. Other starter of calamari was obviously frozen, not fresh. Main courses were no better - Portugese steak came with half a ton of frozen saute potatoes and was drowned in bisto, yes bisto! The pickles on top were from a supermarket jar. The bacalau cod was ok but again served with too many frozen saute potatoes. Compared to the variously awful restaurants nearby this is the only place serving traditional Portugese dishes, however do yourself a favour and get a cheap taxi to Olhos De Agua and go to the family run restaurants there that are much better value, much better food and a fraction of the price of this place. You can get a three course menu with wine and coffee thrown in for not much more than a starter at this place. The only good thing I can say about this experience was the great service. Pity about the cost and the quality of the...
