As Piscinas — Restaurant in Alcácer do Sal

During our drive from Lisbon to Algarve, we stopped at As Piscinas, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip!

This family-owned restaurant offered us the most authentic experience and the most delicious food we’ve had so far. Their menu features traditional Portuguese cuisine with some delightful twist from the chef.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, small and authentic.

The food was simply outstanding and delicious! Each dish was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients and presented beautifully. We had black pork, chicken and cuttle fish with fries and salad and I gotta say, it was the best meal I ate during my 3 weeks trip in Portugal.

The service was exceptional. Pedro, one of the staff members, went above to ensure we had a great experience. Not only was he friendly and professional, but he also took the time to speak French with us, helping us practice for our upcoming trip to France.

We decided to avoid the main street and went to this hidden gem… let me tell you, This was the best decision and the most delicious and fresh food we ate.

We stopped by this lovely family-owned restaurant in Alcacer Do sal (a town of fishermen, so you must try any sea food dishes on their menu) and it was an unforgettable experience! The service was excellent, with the staff making us feel right at home. The food was delicious and authentic, featuring traditional Portuguese dishes that were full of flavor. We especially appreciated the warm, authentic vibe of the place.
