Unfortunately we were not able to try the food. After arriving to the restaurant around 21.30, we asked one of the waitresses if the kitchen still was open and if we could wait for a table to be ready. She answered hastly and told us to wait but that she wouldn’t be able to give us a time. We agreed as that seemed reasonable and waited.
About 10 minutes later, two tables freed up for two people, and the manager offered the table to people that just arrived. I approached him politely that we talked to one of the waitresses and she asked us to wait. When he asked the waitress if she has talked to us, she looked directly in our faces and said no, and went on. The manager apologised and asked us to wait as they would prepare a table inside.
Given the circumstances we didn’t want to eat in an improvised table inside, which was quite hot. We talked to the manager again and decided to not cause inconvenience and leave to go to another place.
I understand busy nights are hard to manage, but I hope in further occasions other people don’t experience this and the waitress doesn’t lie to...
Read moreI would love to write a review about the food - which looks excellent. However I can’t because, despite arriving 5 minutes after the publicized opening time, we encountered the chef (the owner, perhaps?) who told us that we couldn’t be served because the waiter hadn’t arrived yet.
This is a totally understandable situation and, had he spoken to us calmly and politely we would’ve gladly waited. Instead he was quite harsh and it felt like he was directing his frustration about his tardy staff towards us.
We decided to walk around the town and return a bit later. Upon doing so we saw a lady setting up tables outside and a sign saying “Open”. We asked if they were open yet (by now it was ~9:15) and she replied (also somewhat gruffly) that they weren’t ready and to give them another 5 minutes.
I totally understand that difficult situations can happen when running a business. But above all it’s important to treat customers in a friendly manner, no matter how you feel at the time.
I hope things improve for the owners and staff here. Like I said - the food looked excellent! ...

As i said in the original review, the wait between 19.30 to 20.50 was "not the real problem". We understood you were very busy and were very patient and polite. What made me incredulous was that the table that arrived at 20.40 was served two burgers (exactly what we ordered an hour before) and NOT cold food. Can you understand that?
