Lovely place, but we were disappointed by the food. Both of us had the black bean burger, the burger itself and mayo was nice but the bread was heavy and not risen properly making it hard to eat. I appreciate that it was homemade but not a pleasant texture! We also shared a chocolate cake, nice taste but extremely dry. The homemade kombucha was nice, along with the great vibes of the place and very helpful staff. I think the price is a little too much, we payed around 40 euros for two people (a kombucha, water, two burgers, a shared cake slice). We also called in advance to reserve a spot and were given a table next to the entrance door - but when we asked to move we were told there was plenty of space upstairs and they were happy for us to move. Amazing vegetarian restaurant and coming from an avid omnivore who rarely enjoys food unless it contains at least a little meat, that's saying quite something. I ate everything on my plate without missing the animal produce. Anyone who is in need of inspiration to go veggie should definitely come and eat here. This place is good, I mean so good, I would believe it would stand out in a busy city like London. The ambience is very pleasant and the staff friendly yet professional. Bit odd really. We went due to the reviews. The menu was given with no explanation or telling us the specials. We worked it out from googling the menu specials whilst in the restaurant!! The menu is limited but food arrived quickly. The lasagne was Sloppy and too much tomato without herbs or structure. Grated cheese on top but not grilled or crisp. The quinoa salad was pretty dull and sooo oily. No flavour just texture. So pretty disappointing as we cook great vegetarian and expected inspiration.
