Sector B Hamburgueria — Restaurant in Aljezur

This hamburger restaurant was a extremely surprising and great experience.... visiting the Algezur castle and checking for good places to have lunch. I found Sector-B and they had only 3 reviews but all with 5 stars. Hmmm, might just be friends reviews we thought, but it could not be more wrong...

The resturant is simple as well as the the outside except for the nice sea-view but clean and rustic stable furnitures.

The burgers are just magnificent and to a very reasonable price, both 150g and 300g.

Home made meat with fantastic taste, as well as the topping and sauces and sallad. The bread is also top-class and probably home made and the potato as well. I Choosed the local sweet potatoes for 1,5€ extra and it was like a dream.

If you visit algezur it's a must to go their if you are the slightest friend of hamburgers. You will certainly not be...

Drove 20 min to Sector B as we heard that the burgers were worth the while. Somewhat weird kind of area, but once you get there, it makes sense. the terrace has a nice sunset view over the ocean, which adds a lot to the vibe. I am a real fan of cheeseburgers and the XXL version was great. No fancy stuff, and the patty was light and well prepared, I would say an 8.5/10 burger. However, unfortunately the vegetarian burger was disappointing. The chickpea and spinach burger patty was dry and lacked flavour... (but I honestly must say that these meatless variants are always like that, and the only vegetarian burger that comes close is the Beyond burger). I do recommend this place not only for the food but also for the views...

Was a little bit of a let down after seeing most of the other reviews. The burgers tasted good, but were both undercooked. The applecrumble was alright, just really soft and not cruchy.

At the times staff came by it was kind, but I think the fact we were playing chess at the same time scared them off (they stopped by one time when we finished our food to ask if we wanted dessert).

The outdoor atmosphere looked nice, but indoor everything looked a little stale to me.

So overall for the price it was still fine, maybe the cook had an off day. But I sadly did not have the 5 star experience many...
