Taberna do Largo — Restaurant in Aljezur

In a corner of the town, there stands a place, A restaurant with a dubious embrace. Its sign might promise flavors to behold, Yet tales of its service, I've been told.

The entrance dark, the decor quite strange, A hint of neglect, a hint of change. Tables and chairs, mismatched and askew, The atmosphere, well, it's far from new.

The menu's pages, stained and worn, With dishes listed, tattered and torn. The food they serve, it's not the worst, But it's the service that's truly accursed.

The owners, a pair with sour frowns, Greet patrons with disdainful frowns. They let you wait, and then they scold, For moving tables, as you've been told.

The waitstaff's attitude, a blend of apathy, They treat each customer with sheer antipathy. You wave and plead, but they just ignore, Your calls for attention, they choose to abhor.

Your order takes ages, that's no surprise, And when it arrives, oh, what a surprise! It's lukewarm at best, and tasteless too, The owners' disdain has clearly passed through.

You dare to ask for a simple refill, They scoff and sneer, it's an uphill ordeal. The terrible restaurant, a lesson learned, It's not just the food; it's the respect they've spurned.

So, if you seek a meal with service kind, Avoid that place, for peace of mind. In search of dining, more pleasant and nice, Find a restaurant where warmth...

Food was decent. Server was okay, however the owner ( we believe it's the owner as there are pictures of him on the wall) was in a terrible mood and kept muttering loudly about some of the customers whilst he drank beer behind the counter. All the tables were reserved so they forced people to use small tables at the front. This despite no one turning up for the whole 1h15 we were there. Waiter would ask the owner if the client could sit at a different table and the owner would say no and get angry that the client even suggested sitting at a table that was bigger than they needed when there was no real reason to have them reserved. Atmosphere was zero stars if I could give it. Owner clearly knew everyone could hear him and see his eye rolls and angry expressions. Don't like being in the industry, then...

Local de passagem , por acaso tinha lido “ preços razoáveis”🙂 2 pessoas perto de 55€ A questão não é o preço….porque comer bem e pagar pouco hoje em dia…naaa isso é difícil ….mas pelo menos comer SATISFATÓRIAMENTE É O MÍNIMO…o pagar….se entrei e pedi tenho que pagar

Pedimos espetadas …uma de lombo outra do mar! Tempero igual de uma e de outra…uma de carne outra do mar….pensávamos nos “ grelhados” e ….mais nada….tempero de pimentão(?) doce…bom disseram que era da região….estranho mas ok….se querem saber….preferia ir ao Mac Donald’s e aí teria a certeza do que iríamos comer…..não comi metade da espetada( metade era bacon)…e a espetada do mar…tinha um cheiro aquele (bacalhau) ( espero eu) porque o cheiro era tipo 🤮…quando o bacalhau esteve muito tempo dentro de água(mais ou menos assim) Comer muito a desejar mas claro “valor Razoável “

Serviço….estranho….pedia algo….ouviam mas …assobia para o lado como do tipo( não ouvi…estive quase a fazer a mesma pergunta em inglês….no fim pedi a fatura …aconteceu com 2 funcionários e tive que me levantar e pedir a conta no balcão…ou seja tipo Mac Donald’s….pede,come,limpa e paga…tempo de espera…demasiado!!

No fim ao pedir a conta….CEREJA NO TOPO DO BOLO…..SÓ RECEBEMOS A DINHEIRO E EM FRENTE EXISTE UMA CAIXA MULTIBANCO 🤢!!

LOCAL excelente…serviço e comida👎👎 Isto torna-se demasiado “normal” o pagar 1 vez e ser mal servido….e sempre que como bem e pago razoavelmente bem….também escrevo comentários….ou seja…. Tornar publico algo que esteja mal é nosso dever em bem da...
