Waikiki — Restaurant in Almada

We luckly found this wonderful place 15 mins from the busy Caparica Beach and spent our last whole day at this little paradise. Marco was the super polite young guy who served us with so much kindness and attention. He was always asking if he could get us anything, the beer was stupidly cold and the burgers were delicious. We hired one of the beds and stayed for about 5-6 hours, arriving at 11:30am. They also had cheaper options for £10 per person to sit in stretchers, but we chose the bed for £40. The beach was so good, white sands and with this kind of service and food you wish you could never leave. That was our last day in Portugal and worth every minute. One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a festival location.

This place is nothing but a tourist trap designed to squeeze every euro out of visitors. They charged 4€ for 0.3l of water – already outrageous – and then refused to give me a fresh cup I had paid 1€ for. Instead, they insisted I pay another 1€ for an empty cup I didn’t need. Completely unreasonable.

Even worse was the security behavior. As I tried to exit, one of the guards grabbed me aggressively by the arm and pushed me back without explanation – simply because they were checking someone else entering. I wasn’t involved at all and was treated with zero respect.

This place is overpriced, poorly managed, and shows no regard for basic customer treatment. If you’re attending a festival here: be warned. I won’t return – and I suggest others...

It was the worst experience of my life. People at the bar got personally offended by my complaint, as they lost my first ticket and decided I should be kicked out, despite me buying another round of €30 for the drinks I had already been charged for. I lost around €75, was thrown to the floor like a criminal and the manager didn’t even listen to me. I was kicked out after being thrown on the floor by a team of multiple security guards in front of everyone crying without management doing anything! Even the security guys acknowledged they were over the top with us, called management and he was worst than anyone.
