We came across Tasquinha da Ponte while walking in the area, looking for a place to have dinner. The interior is pretty classic for a Portuguese tasca, with some interesting details on the walls. Unfortunately the food was not outstanding, as one would expect from a traditional Portuguese restaurant. We had the pica pau, which had a weird-tasting sauce (francesinha-like but too sweet for our taste), the chouriço (which is good indeed), hake fillets (they were tasty but a bit greasy) and vegetables. We were really expecting the vegetables to be cabbage and carrots, as it usually is in Portugal, but instead we have got something similar to sprouts (grelos) mixed with some beans. They would have been good to if they weren't so so salty. To forget about that all, we had baba de camelo for dessert (and it was great). The wine was good and the service fast and friendly enough.
