Benedito Brunch — Restaurant in Barcelos

We have been here once and the GUIMARÃES location a few times. Our experience in the past were always good. The place is dog friendly, and the service has always been great. I loved the food in the past… but today, was disappointing. I tried their Ube latte - it was pretty much milk with purple liquid. I didn’t taste any ube at all. Their hummus was not good. It’s missing savory flavor. They topped it with toasted almonds and honey - it tasted sweet. The burger was decent - but the bacon was stale. It was almost like chewing a piece of plastic. Salad with grilled chicken was decent.

Had this been my first time in the cafe, I’d probably won’t come back. I hope you can improve the flavor and quality of the food, instead of just presenting...

It was literally the best brunch (and more) at a restaurant my husband and I have ever been to in Portugal. Something new, and even the old and well-known franceshina was served in a completely different way. I am a vegetarian and found something to eat without any problem. They have one of the BEST sangrias!!! I highly recommend it. Also, what was important for me, I have two dogs and we had no problems entering the restaurant with two French bulldogs, what's more the nicest waiter serve them water :). I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return there someday to eat other...

After struggling to find any “pet friendly” restaurants in Barcelos, we stumbled across Benedito. The staff welcomed my miniature daschund in and were very attentive towards him. I had an açai bowl which was delicious and my mother a sandwich which she advised was divine. Highly recommend this place, great atmosphere, fantastic staff and delicious food.
