Wonderful location for a romantic meal. The restaurant is placed next to the Hotel Lis Batalha and has a very good mix of new and old features. The food is very good, the price is correct (having the raw material and work into consideration), and the best of all, its staff! Our experience was very unic and this is because og the service of excellence provided by Mr. Rui. I really hope that the owners know his value, because we are only coming back because of him! Well done, Mr Rui!!!

Fiz uma reserva para dois adultos e duas crianças neste estabelecimento que ousa chamar-se restaurante. Cheguei com a confirmação em mãos e fui recebida com a inacreditável frase: “Não temos mesa para si.” Imaginem. Uma reserva confirmada, e a primeira reação é negar a nossa presença. A desculpa? Chegámos “cedo demais”. Eram 20h45 para uma reserva às 21h. Curiosamente, no site continuavam a aceitar reservas para as 21h10. Coerência? Nenhuma. Quando questionei, a resposta foi um desdém: “Olhe, só há mesa redonda, é o que posso fazer.” Como se o problema fosse meu. Acabámos empurrados para uma mesa de dez lugares, sem qualquer atenção. O atendimento foi lento, descuidado e, atrevo-me a dizer, insolente. Pedi um espumante e recebi um líquido morno, sem garrafa, servido a meias, como se fosse uma esmola. A explicação foi de um amadorismo constrangedor: “a garrafa ficou fora do frio depois de uma sangria.” Uma falta de respeito gritante. Resultado? A reserva era para as 21h, mas as crianças só comeram às 21h45. E quando, finalmente, pedi uma carne “no ponto”, recebi algo que mais parecia uma pedra. Nem consegui comer. A minha experiência resumiu-se a jantar batatas. Para culminar, ao pagar a conta, nem sequer ouvi um “obrigado”. Um desprezo absoluto do início ao fim. Se tivesse de resumir esta experiência, usaria uma só palavra: PÉSSIMOS. Nunca mais ponho os pés neste antro. E recomendo a quem se preze que faça o mesmo.

El restaurante Vintage nos sedujo por su decoración y su terraza genial con vistas al monasterio de Batalha, patrimonio de la UNESCO. LOCAL: el restaurante se encuentra dentro de un hotel. Interiomente tiene un aspecto cuidado e intimo, con una decoración que a mi personalmente, me enamoró. Además, cuenta con una ubicación increíble, frente al monasterio de Batalha. Desde su terraza puedes disfrutar de unas vistas geniales a este monumento. ATENCION: Exquisita. Fueron tremendamente educados y dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. COMIDA: Por si esto fuera poco, su comida estaba bastante aceptable. Pedimos varios platos para compartir y todo estaba muy bueno. Eramos 2 adultos y un niños y tomamos: - ensalada de frutos secos y manzana - macarrones con pollo - solomillo con patatas - crocante con helado de vainilla - acompañamos la comida de cerveza y agua PRECIO: 29 €/persona ¿LO RECOMENDARIA? si, decoración, trato, comoda... ¡nos gusto todo de este lugar!

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant attached to Hotel Lis. The convenience of having a classy restaurant with a great view made our stay even better. Our main servers, Antonio and a lovely young woman, were incredibly welcoming and truly enhanced our dining experience. Friendly service goes a long way, especially for tourists, as it reflects the hospitality of the country.

Unfortunately, our experience at Vintage Restaurant was disappointing due to a server named Enia. Her attitude was unfriendly, and her service was rude, making us feel unwelcome. I had to confront her about the way she spoke to us, and while she did apologize after the fact, the overall experience left us feeling disrespected. It’s a shame, as good service can make all the difference.

We had lunch at Restaurante Vintage after touring the nearby monastery in Batalha (also highly recommended). The food was very good, service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for lunch the next day, and that meal too was very satisfying. We enjoyed all of the following dishes: shrimp and mushroom pasta, Portuguese-style beef steak, roasted vegetables, and seafood soup (“sea soup” on the menu). I’m not sure about the food, but I will like to share my experience. It was 1:45 on a Sunday when 3 of us asked to have lunch. They told us it was all occupied, with plenty of empty tables in clear site. I am not sure it was because I spoke in Portuguese or maybe we didn’t look like we could afford it. But it was rude!
