We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant attached to Hotel Lis. The convenience of having a classy restaurant with a great view made our stay even better. Our main servers, Antonio and a lovely young woman, were incredibly welcoming and truly enhanced our dining experience. Friendly service goes a long way, especially for tourists, as it reflects the hospitality of the country.
Unfortunately, our experience at Vintage Restaurant was disappointing due to a server named Enia. Her attitude was unfriendly, and her service was rude, making us feel unwelcome. I had to confront her about the way she spoke to us, and while she did apologize after the fact, the overall experience left us feeling disrespected. It’s a shame, as good service can make all the difference.

We enjoyed it so much that we returned for lunch the next day, and that meal too was very satisfying. They told us it was all occupied, with plenty of empty tables in clear site. I am not sure it was because I spoke in Portuguese or maybe we didn’t look like we could afford it. But it was rude!
