Tourigalo — Restaurant in Braga

Location - Great. Easy access and plenty of parking room for both dine in and take away. Conditions - OK. There are some nice tables inside with round seats for groups. The lights were too dim, making it hard to spot anomalies in the food. Cleanliness - OK. It looked clean, but there were plenty of house flies on a summer day (both inside and outside). Service - OK. Staff was friendly, but the service can be a bit slow, especially during peak times, even though we arrived early. Menu - OK. There are some interesting choices for fish and meat, mostly grilled, but you are limited to rice and fried chips for most of the side dishes. It is a grill place, after all, so you know what to expect from the start. Food - Not great. Flavour was ok. The meats were medium well done and got cold quickly. The rice appeared to be reheated, not fresh. Price - OK. It is not too expensive. It is within what you would expect from an average restaurant in this area. O pior restaurante onde já comi. Foi um desastre autêntico desde as entradas até ao café. O empregado de mesa que nos atendeu não tinha perfil para a função. Demorou uma eternidade para abrir a garrafa de vinho, até que a pousou em cima da mesa para a conseguir abrir. Entornou o vinho na mesa e nem mostrou preocupação com isso. Trouxe rissóis e bolinhos de bacalhau para as entradas, estavam frios e duros. Pedi para trocar porque estavam frios e duros, e o rapaz ainda ripostou. Voltou a trazer outros, não tão duros mas gelados. A costeleta de carne maturada estava horrível. O assador onde veio servida, parecia nunca ter sido lavado. Eu tinha vergonha de levar um utensílio naquele estado para uma mesa, quer de casa quer de um restaurante. O feijão preto foi direto da lata para a panela para aquecer... Batatas as rodelas fritas frias, arroz sem gosto.... O pão foi para trás, estava duro e vinham fatias de pão duro torrado.... Em que século estamos para servir um pão assim? Ainda para mais em tempo de pandemia. Pedimos café de imediato, pois só queríamos sair daquele pesadelo. Foi a conta que mais nos custou pagar, pois não se aproveitou nada...
