Canto do Lobo — Restaurant in Caminha

Nice place with open concept kitchen…the menu is quite limited but generally well conceived. The dishes we ordered “Bife Outono” and “bacalhau à casa” were good. The cod was well-made and the perfect portion for one person. The review on the steak was alright but nothing spectacular. We appreciated the vibe and concept of the place, however we must have gotten the reject table as we got the only metal/iron wrought table with glass top (and exterior iron wrought chairs) versus the remaining wooden tables. A positive for beer lovers is that they have a huge variety of artisanal beers (like triple the amount of food options) and had beer themed Christmas decorations, which were a nice comedic touch. Modern restaurant mixed with a beer bar. Unfortunately they had only 1 beer on the tap. However, still a nice selection of cans and bottles. Beers are somewhat pricey, but as crafts is something you don't get everyday. Food and dessert are an awe, I got the Bife ao Lobo and was surprised. Excellent beer restaurant in Caminha! The place itself (an old building in the historical centre) is great and well-renovated. The food is (almost?) entirely home-made and is just so perfect!
