The milkshakes are great and cheap. The food is pretty good and American. I don’t give full stars because I think it could be better. For example, the hot dogs are a little undercooked/bland for my taste. I’d grill them then simmer them in beer or soda or pickle juice. Just personal preference.
Another odd thing is that for dine in service, they give you a tablet to make your order. The UI is a little weird. It’s intuitive but the scaling and sizing is bad. The buttons and icons aren’t big enough and as a result you might accidentally click on the previous or next item instead of the one you want. When adding to the cart, the item doesn’t then disappear/return you to the order page; it stays on the “add to cart” page which might make one think that the last item wasn’t added, especially if you’re passing the iPad to the next person so they make...
Read moreWe came here with a high expectation of the food based on a review, but left feeling disappointed with the food.
The positive: we like the server, he was very friendly onion rings and fries were good rootbeer floats was good they use good ice cream
Things that can be improved: jalapeno poppers need more jalapeños. falafel balls were dry. the burger (duplo) was very dry. Maybe add some fat in the fat/meat ratio. vegetarian chili was very bland. Needs more seasoning. the hotdog was just meh. There was no pop when you bite to the sausage. Apple pie was soggy. The crust was very wet. It feels like when you reheat pie in microwave.
Overall the food was not good enough. We still ate them all because we were hungry and don’t like to waste. The service was good. I hope the hot food can...
Read moreUnsuspectingly I walk through this beautiful place and find an American diner. A beautiful ambience with a jukebox made to look old. A courteous good English speaking service. And then the burgers are incredibly just INCREDIBLY good, just how you imagine a diner to be. Everything is made by hand, the patties are fried to perfection, the ingredients are perfectly matched, the portions are prepared so that the burger is the focus, a good bun that doesn't fall apart from the juice, simply perfect burgers. and the cook in the kitchen as you would imagine, with a towel on her hands. Just a trip to the sixties America. An absolute recommendation is to eat there, it is a taste experience. If I could I would give ten stars. Thank you for this experience. A pilgrim on the Way...
