Sebastião - Pizza, Pasta & Wine — Restaurant in Caminha

I recently visited Pizzaria Sebastião and had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience that I would like to share to alert other customers.

Overcharging: When I received the bill, I noticed that the prices charged were more than double those listed on the menu. This discrepancy was ignored by the staff, and only when I questioned it did the manager admit that there was a problem with the system. This practice is concerning and constitutes fraud.

Lack of Transparency and Professionalism: When I asked to speak with the manager about the issue, he refused to give me his name, which shows a complete lack of professionalism and integrity. Furthermore, when questioning the incorrect charges, I was told that it was my fault for not checking the bill earlier. This left me extremely frustrated, and I left the restaurant in tears.

Hidden Charges: Additionally, a tip was added to the bill without my knowledge or consent. Customers have the right to be informed about any charges in advance, which did not happen...

The employees at Pizzaria Sebastião are top-notch. They are friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about providing a pleasant dining experience. Their warm hospitality sets the tone for a great meal. The service is prompt and efficient, even during busy times. Whether you dine in or order for delivery, they consistently deliver quality service. Now, let's talk about the food. Really excellent pizza as the bread base (which is so crucial and often a disappointment) was perfect- not too thick, the right texture and with a whiff of smokiness. You can add ingredients to your pizza so I had a mozzarella and ham pizza and added fresh rocket (rucola) on top because I like the fresh tang of the herb. My pizza was generously topped see the picture and my husband’s calzone went down a treat. The chef came to our table to check everything was good for us . I asked for some chilli and he came back with his home made chilli oil and a hot sauce incase I wanted more spice, which was a nice touch. Good place where we were served with the usual Portuguese charm we’ve grown to enjoy during our stay here....
