Café São Jorge — Restaurant in Cascais

This cafe is great for coffee, but that’s about it. We tried ordering lunch today and the meal was a disappointment. We ordered drinks, soup and fish. Although we ordered a calde verde and a bean soup, they arrived cold and tasted pretty much the same. I had ordered some bread with my soup but 10 minutes later the waiter had to be reminded. I asked if my soup could be heated up and when he returned with it, he forgot the spoon. The drinks came 10 minutes later and the fish never came to the table....

It’s a very nice place inside and has an outside space, the tables are under the trees and the staff is very friendly. I love that everything is made in house. So you can choose any type of bread for your breakfast. Great expresso and the cakes and sweets are very very good. Also ask for a natural orange juice and I cannot leave without order bread...

Amazing breakfast cafe. The food is fantastic and the pastries are to die for. The service is great and the location is also great. You can sit outside. Amazing coffee. One thing to note is that the hot chocolate is melted chocolate rather than the drink but it’s still amazing. I would definitely recommend...
