Mar verde — Hotel in Cascais

We simply loved our getaway at Mar Verde. We booked it last minute and basically choose it based on its location - perfect for day trips to Lisboa, Cascais, Sintra, Cabo - and parking facilities. However, the best was the hospitality of the owners, the delicious breakfast and the overall feeling of coziness. It is situated walking distance from bus and train station, shops and restaurants. Not on the main street so calm and quiet. For those who do not like the beach, it also has a swimming pool. We booked this property on booking.com and the stay was amazing!! The staff was very nice to us, Leopold waited for us at the check in to open the gate because it has free parking inside which is a must! :) I lost my earring at the pool and they found it and gave it back to me. The pool was clean, they had towels for the beach, the pool also and the room was very clean. The breakfast was very good, it had vegan options, a lot of fruits, fresh baked cake and bread. Beautiful guest house in the quaint suburban town of Parade. Situated within walking distance of town with excellent transport links via train or bus from Lisbon to Cascais. Breakfast is exquisite with home made pastries and a full continental assortment.
