Do not have an event here!!

I have not eaten in the restaurant itself but I did have a wedding welcome event held here. The event left me and my guests with an awful experience. It was not until after I read the reviews about how terrible they are with events at this location. The only thing I will compliment is the beautiful view. To have an event here, it is pricy and you will not get what you pay for.

The service is slow and expect one tray of appetizers per hour (to explain further is we ordered a variety of appetizers, you expect the variety of trays to come around throughout your event. NOT HERE. They came out with one appetizer tray each hour. The appetizers on the tray were enough for MAYBE one per person). We paid for 70 people. The owner talked it up that our guests did not like one of the appetizers, which is not true because our guests did very much like the only 2 out of 5 appetizers that came out- but it came down to not enough food.

It’s hard to express how disappointed we were that, even when attempting to speak with a manager there she could care less. We then found out the man lingering around, listening to our conversations with the manager, was actually the owner. He saw we were frustrated and did nothing to help, except wave us off and tell us “not to worry.” Also our guests received wrist bands for an open bar, because apparently having 50-70 guests is not enough to have a private event, so it is still open to the public. Also they attempt to make you pay for a DJ ( a DJ THEY provide) which makes no sense because if I pay for a DJ and the area is still open to the public..why am I paying for entertainment, that is being provided now to patrons that are not my guests.

To say the least, my husband and I immediately removed all 70 guests from the event to go elsewhere. Of course- when gathering our guests to leave, suddenly the staff began bringing more food out to “leave on a table.” Of course they suddenly began brining food out…when we were leaving with all 70 guests.

We paid for 4 hours and only stayed for 2 hours. Imagine how upset you have to be to leave 2 hours early, after paying a LOT of money for such an event.

Use your judgment wisely, sometimes you only get one shot with some life celebrating events - don’t...

This was a disappointing experience! We booked some days early as reviews were highly placed. It’s not a large restaurant and the view to the rocky beach is appealing. The appointed table was ready and so we waited for our friends and ordered a jug of sangria that was not inexpensive though never seen a choice with so much fruit inside: it was good enough. We requested a simple choice of fish array and a soup that was included (for each of the 4 of us). Happily we were in good company so the one hour wait for the soup and then finally for the food to arrive was a lesser burden to handle, though it was too long for soup and simple grilled fish and salad: no frills at all and the fish was a little too charred in my opinion. This fish buffet consisted of 5 types of fish and some chopped salad. It was not a comparable experience to another local eatery in Cascais where there is no wait and the fish is appetizing and includes prawns. Given the excellent reviews we found this space to be overrated. The bill added cover charge and an extra tuna paste charge that I feel was a little cheeky. Not sure what all the review ‘fuss’ is about as I’ve had better in informal small ‘tascas’ just about everywhere. I’m no stranger to Portugal ( 40 years of sampling gastronomy here). I am an learning to be more apprehensive about reviews...

The highlight of our visit was the amazing music by Baba(BE) – absolutely phenomenal! The DJ created the perfect atmosphere with tracks that perfectly matched the sunset vibes and elevated the entire experience. The music selection was spot-on, creating an energy that made us want to stay all evening.

The food offerings are impressive, with a menu that perfectly complements the upscale rooftop setting. Every dish was well-executed and flavorful, showing real attention to quality and presentation. The variety ensures there's something for everyone.

But let's talk about those views – simply breathtaking! The panoramic vistas from this rooftop location in Parede are absolutely stunning. Whether you're catching the sunset or enjoying the evening lights, the scenery provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable night.

Bottom Line: Nautk Rooftop combines amazing music by Baba(BE), excellent food, and some of the best views in Parede. It's the perfect spot for a special evening with incredible vibes and stunning scenery. Highly...
