Estrela de Serra is undoubtedly an amazing place with delicious food and great atmosphere. The Duck with organce souce and almonds was just PHENOMENAL, probably the best we have ever eaten!!! We liked the fish and the soup very much too. Desserts were just delicious - we tried all of them. Apart from the food, we really liked the interior design - cozy lightning and stone walls made us find this place extraordinary, completely different from the usual ones. The service was really nice and quite fast as well! The only thing is this restaurant is often full of people, especially in the evening, so it's best to book a table in advance. I've dined at this restaurant four times and I'm glad I waited to write this review. The "Parato do dia" was underwhelming during my first visit, but the meat and shrimp skewers were a hit on my second visit. The Bacalao was a miss, but the seafood soup and lamb steak during my third visit were unbelievably delicious. The lamb chops on my most recent visit were also wonderful and melted in my mouth. This is the first time I've commented in Portugal for 6 years. This restaurant discriminates against foreigners (Chinese), obviously. We booked a table for 11 people one day in advance. When we arrived at the restaurant, the waiter split us into 3 tables and was very rude and rude. Their waiters are of low quality.
