Nach einer Besichtigung Cabo da Roca - das Ende der Welt waren wir im Restaurante Farol essen. Es gab draußen 3 Tische, von denen einer bereits mit GĂ€sten belegt war und im Restaurant waren keine GĂ€ste. Wir bestellten unser Essen "Misto enchido" (gegrillte Blutwurst und anderen WurststĂŒcken) und ein Pastagericht mit Shrimps. Das Pastagericht war sehr schmackhaft, die Grillwurst leider gewöhnungsbedĂŒrftig. Als wir bezahlen wollten, mussten wir feststellen, dass uns mehr berechnet wurde als auf der Speisekarte stand und die einzelnen Posten auf der Rechnung ergaben. Laut der Addition der von uns verzehrten Speisen und GetrĂ€nken kĂ€me eine Endsumme von 52,65 Euro heraus, aber uns wurde eine Rechnung von 57,92 € prĂ€sentiert siiehe Kassenbeleg. Auf Nachfrage sagte man , es wĂŒrden 10% Aufschlag berechnet, weil wir draußen gespeist hĂ€tten. Nicht nur das es draußen an der Straße mit dem vorbeifahrenden LĂ€rm besond ers angenehm war, sondern auch die UnverschĂ€mtheit auf einen Hinweis in der Speisekarte oder persönlich. So wird uns leider dieses Restaurant in keiner guten Erinnerung bleiben und wir können es auch nicht weiterempfehlen. Schön das Sie auf diese Bewertung sich geĂ€ußert haben, aber wir empfinden es als nicht sehr gastfreundlich, ihren GĂ€sten die die portug.Sprache nicht sprechen und es leider keine engl. Speisekarte gab, diese auf den 10% Aufschlag an der Straße hinzueisen. Wir sind bereits 7 Wochen in Lissabon und hanen sowas noch in keinem gastronomischen Betrieb erlebt. Es ist eine schlechte Erfahrung, die wir bei ihnen erlebt haben.

We came here by chance when we were driving around the coast of Guincho. Happy we found it because the food was amazing! The restaurant was completely full around lunch time, so we needed to wait a bit for our table. In general, the restaurant is very full, so you need to be a bit patient. But the wait is totally worth it. We had the choco a lagareiro and peixe espada preto. Both were delicious! Can totally recommend this place! Obrigado e atĂ© a proxima 😊

Hidden gem! This place doesn't look like much from the outside but this was the absolute best! My friend had the fish and it was GREAT, I had a steak and it to was incredible. Although the fish was a little bit better both where absolutely amazing! The only problem Was that we didn't find this place sooner! Could not recommend more.

Hidden gem! This place doesn't look like much from the outside but this was the absolute best! My friend had the fish and it was GREAT, I had a steak and it to was incredible. A really nice restaurant:

Food (4*): Great food, well cooked and looks fine. There is just to much oil in use and that trouble the taste a bit.

Interior(4*): I like the colors inside but the table's are a bit to tide to each other and i don't like to chat with the neighbor on the same height as in a relation ;-)

Language: English is fine but better would be Portuguese because the cards cards in local language.

Entrance (3*): For foreigners its quite difficult to find the restaurant. The entrance is simple and could be overseen easily.

Parking (2*): Search somewhere in the village a space but the restaurant don't have.

Paying (5*): Cash or card, no problem.

Toilets (4*): They are clean but tide.

Result: Try this restaurant. I like the local food as well the...

Went there for nice family lunch!!!! Ridiculous waiting time. Party of 5 . Two had already finished their fish and my omelette had still not arrived. When we asked we were told ‘ it was made fresh on the spot’ I would hope all their dishes were made fresh!! Very indifferent waitress who made little attempt to apologize for the extremely long wait. In fact she didn’t care and was very off hand . Do not go there if you fancy an omelette ! If you want to receive your food without waiting 45 mins or more in my case!! Also portions not generous, rice portions very small. Do not recommend, in particular the attitude of the waitress who for some reason told us her father was the...

My partner and I come here regularly - not because we live nearby, but because the food and service keep us coming back.

The restaurant may look unassuming, but it has a warm, homely atmosphere that makes us feel welcome every time. We may be a little biased, as we’ve gotten to know Sandra, one of the best hosts we’ve ever met in a restaurant.

The food is always fresh and beautifully prepared, whether it’s seafood -- sardines, mussels, cuttlefish, or meat dishes like pork, chicken, and my personal favorite, rabbit. And the tomato rice? Fantastic!

Prices are very reasonable, and we can only hope it remains a hidden gem for...
