O Nosso Cantinho — Restaurant in Fafe

We were in the area and needed to find somewhere to eat. Based on the reviews we decided to come here and were not disappointed. First of all we were made very welcome and were fortunate to have the menu explained by the owner. He even brought out dishes to show them to us. The restaurant has a great mixture of meat and fish/seafood dishes, fresh, simply prepared and delicious. We also sampled the wines which were well priced and complemented the food well. Very importantly for us the restaurant understood about Gluten Free food and this was available. We also had deserts which were delicious. Lastly our children were made very welcome.

Um lugar aconchegante, muito familiar e de uma gastronomia muito agradável! Recomendo imenso que experimentem a batata com bacon e cebola, acompanhada de uma carne irlandesa e o vinho da casa. De sobremesa aconselho o bolo de bolacha (como nunca experimentei em nenhum lugar) e o doce da casa que também é maravilhoso. En nuestro viaje de vuelta de vacaciones, llegamos hasta ahí por pura casualidad y la verdad que no defraudó. Amabilisimos y simpáticos, un personal que estuvo pendiente en todo momento y nos atendió de lujo a pesar de haber llegado tarde a comer. Todo buenísimo: sopa de repollo sabrosa y riquísimo, una ensalada (algo tan sencillo) estaba de rechupete, bacalao de la casa.
