Restaurante Foz do Mondego — Restaurant in Figueira da Foz

Disgustingly overpriced badly cooked food...I cannot believe this place has ant good reviews. I ordered the grilled gambas and squid, what I was presented with was a plate with four small potatoes on, 3 small prawns and squid that I can only liken to the hard, badly cooked tasteless rubber., all of which was swimming in butter, served with a slice of lemon snd a side dish of more melted butter!! Strangest food I've ever been served in so so called restaurant! And they wanted €14.50 for the main meal as above. One prawns I had to spit out, because it was the only one that tasted of anything and it tasted off! When I complained , not only did the lady chef not take any criticism, but would not reduce my bill, considering I barely ate anything. The olives and bread were nice...but I would never go there...

Bloss nicht!!!Den einen Stern gibt es für die Freundlichkeit.Das Essen war normalpreissig,allerdings nichts Besonderes,ich hatte den Bacalao,die Überraschung kommt mit der Rechnung,3 Euro das alkoholfreie Bier,2,50 für die Oliven,3 Euro das Brot,nirgends habe ich diese Preise gesehen.Auf Nachfrage doch bitte die Karte mit den Preisen für das Bier,Oliven und Brot zu sehen(das Essensangebot gab es handgeschrieben auf einem DINA4 Blatt mit Preisen) bekam ich als Antwort gibt es nicht ,hätte noch keine Zeit dafür gehabt.Ach ja,und ausserdem mit ausländischer Visa Karte kann man auch nicht bezahlen,musste noch extra in den Markt gehen und Bargeld abheben,Kann dieses Restaurant auf keinen Fall empfehlen!!!Leider hatte ich die anderen Rezensionen nicht gelesen,dann wäre ich gar nicht...

Way overpriced! They brought olives, bread, and butter before the main course and charged high amounts for all of it! I thought it was part of the meal! Rip off! I never leave bad reviews, but this place deserves it. Total was 29.20€...
