Meeting Hostel — Hotel in Figueira da Foz

Our room was spacious and bright. The breakfast was basic but did the job. The whole hostel was spotless and there was a lovely communal area with a large TV and a bar. Although a lot of the conversation was in broken mixtures of English, French, Spanish and Portugese...and gestures...the staff were super friendly and helpful. They managed to explain to us how to get free car parking. The location is a 3 min walk from the beach. We had the place to ourselves but I imagine it could be quite loud if it was full to capacity. I would highly recommend The Meeting Hostel; it is unbelievable value for money and a charming...

Great hostel! I've spent there only one night, called them in advance I'll arrive late, it was no problem at all. A young receptionist helped me store my bicycle safely and showed me the hostel. Its in a perfect location, not far from The beach, it has a nice big terrace and a clean kitchen where you can make yourself a meal whenever you want. Bathroom is clean and everything works like it should. Very nice staff and comfortable rooms,...

Price written when I booked through the official page was saying „all taxes included“. When I was there they suddenly asked me to pay a tourist tax extra which was nowhere mentioned during the booking process.

Apart from this negative experience the hostel itself was also not recommended. The location is ok but that was it. Few charging options in the room, not very comfy beds and very limited...
