Service was kind, but definitely had some language barriers that made things difficult (I speak fluent English and semi fluent Portuguese, and had a difficult time communicating). The place is absolutely stunning in terms of aesthetic and decor. However… all of this is absolutely trumped by the terrible food quality. If you are someone that is looking to try sushi for the first time, please avoid coming here (at least with the quality of sushi they are serving now). The rice used in the rolls was incredibly sweet, which overpowered all the other condiments in the rolls, any rolls that were supposed to be “spicy” were just absolutely drenched in sweet and spicy sauce, and the Tuna did not seem fresh whatsoever. The only item on the menu (that I had) that was genuinely good, was the salmon sashimi, as it did seem fresh.
Please if you are a sushi lover, or wanting to try sushi for the first time. Please do not come here.
I genuinely hope they can improve the quality of their sushi, as the place in and of itself is genuinely beautifully...
Read more4 stars just because of ambient, decoration and food quality. The manager (owner, I think) is not capable of handling that responsibility. Lacks kindness and tact with the public! A waitress spilled a drink all over my coat which was hanging on a seat (ok! Accidents happen). The manager instead of giving his apologies to me, reprehended the waitress in front of us (which was the only one offering her help to clean my coat and which I kindly denied because it was very cold outside and it was nothing I couldn't clean at home). At the end, the manager did not apologize nor gave us a discount or offered a coffee or something for the inconvenience like it was supposed to be in a place like this. I'm not even taking the bill of the coat cleaning which I had the right to do because he even might take that money from the waitresse's salary. Chegado ao local para recolher a encomenda, deparo-me com uma entrada/recepcao do restaurante sem luz, sem ninguém e com um intenso odor lixívia pura. Entretanto encontrei um senhora no restaurante que se encontrava quase deitada num sofá a falar por videochamada ao telemóvel em idioma “estrangeiro”. Apresentei o meu cartão para pagar (cartão específico onde apenas se pode pagar em locais de restauração ou supermercados) que pesquisei antes na app do mesmo se o restaurante era aderente(e era), e de imediato a senhora diz me “esse cartão aqui não dá!” , respondi lhe que tinha consultado app do cartão e o restaurante estava lá como aderente. Contestou que não interessa o que está no site, não aceita aquele cartão. Paguei com outro e vim embora. Chego a casa abro as embalagens do take away e Meu Deus que aspecto horrível que o sushi tinha. Os hot rolls estava ensopados em óleo e com um aspecto tenebroso. O sushi mix frio o arroz parecia papa o peixe claramente não era fresco. O temaki de camarão frito a philadelphia estava ao grumos de não ser fresca e o camarão para além de seco como se pode verificar nas fotografias não estava limpo. Pedimos tempura de camarão veio completamente ressecado, evidentemente não era fresco. Pedimos também dois crepes de legumes que de legumes não tinham nada, sem recheio algum, apenas vestígios de umas lascas de cenoura, de tamanho muito pequeno, e igualmente não eram frescos.
