Awful service. Went into the “lobby” of the restaurant and asked for a table outside for two, and the man got us a table, but no menus. We sat there for maybe 5 minutes, just waiting to see the menu! Then finally, another man came by our table without saying anything and dropped off menus. We looked over the menu, and couldn’t decide on anything, and debated on leaving because it was taking so long. 10 long minutes later, another man came to our table and just looked at us. Didn’t say a word. We all just looked at each other, and just as I was telling the man “I’ll have a coke...” I decided, no, he didn’t ask what I wanted. “Actually, we are going to leave. Sorry.”
As we were walking away from our table, an older man with glasses standing near some sort of “desk” asked us if everything was okay (why are you leaving???) I said, with integrity, “oh, everything is fine, but we’re going somewhere else, the service was too slow.” And we left.
I don’t know what was going on “behind the scenes” before or after we left, I just know my husband and I were treated poorly, and we didn’t feel the obligation to give the restaurant our business. We will...
Pleasant atmosphere with a terrace in front of the Marina. The restaurant only offers dishes with seafood and fish charged according to their weight. The saltef codfish loin we ordered came at the exact point (39 € / kg, including the sides), crunchy on the outside and tender and tasty inside. It came with roasted potatoes and garlic, and broccoli. Two large loins weighed almost a kilogram, and satisfied the hunger of the three: two adults and a 12-year-old child. There was only one drawback: I called a little before arriving, for a Wednesday lunch around 12h45, and asked to reserve a table on the terrace for 3 people, being informed that they did not accept reservations. When we reached the terrace, we could still choose a table, as long as it wasn't one of those with a free view of the marina. Reason: they were already... booked! I found it curious, and in fact it was not possible to understand who the restaurant accepts to make reservations for, and what kind of customers are not honored with this practice. It just didn't deserve 5 stars for...
Read moreI had one of the worst dining experiences of my life at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the service was dismissive and unwelcoming. It was clear that we were being treated differently from other guests, and the undertone of racism in how we were spoken to and ignored was impossible to overlook.
Not once did the staff make an effort to provide basic hospitality—our presence seemed more like a burden than that of paying customers. We waited for our food, and by the time it finally arrived, the negative experience had already ruined everything. Instead of staying any longer in such a hostile environment, we immediately asked for the bill, paid, and left without touching the food.
No one should ever have to feel discriminated against or devalued when going out to eat. A restaurant that allows this type of treatment from start to finish should not be...
