Salicórnia — Restaurant in Grândola

Are you kidding me? My wife & I just had lunch here and the bill was 56€ for an EXTREMELY small amount of food.

We each ordered the Dourada de Limao, sweet potatoes with honey and the grilled vegetables. A glass of white wine and a Coke Zero.

The portion size is a joke. I was so in shock, I forgot to take a photo, but trust me.

The fish was not a whole fish. Basically two slivers of fish. The "grilled" vegetables are not grilled. More like sauteed. The sweet potato was three small strips of mush.

Total ripoff! ...

we visited off season in late oct, and it was one of the few open restaurants, especially as part of the editory hotels group in the area. surprisingly there were a lot of diners for supper, but not that much staff. that said, the staff were very nice and the food came relatively quickly. there is a bunch of tapas like items for sharing, all pretty tasty but a bit oily. the hamburgers are very nice. you can do take away as well. price was very reasonable, and portion...

Energetic, friendly staff that never stop showing a geniune smile make you feel at home, and are really patient with none Portuguese speaking tourists when explaining the menu.

Wild Boar Coquettes were massive, packed full of flavour, and presented perfectly.....and like most places in the area, the Cuttlefish (which was chosen as the main) was top line.

Serving food late into the evening, including when the resort is out of season, this relaxed and welcoming venue...
