Mentes tapas bar serves fantastic Portuguese style tapas dishes. The service was super friendly and professional. The atmosphere is cozy and we were seated at a large table which was great so you had lots of space to share all the tasty tapas. The beef strips with pepper sauce, the melted goat cheese, the home made tacos and the garlic prawns were all fantastic. The flavors are nicely balanced and the portions are perfect for sharing. We completed our meal with an exquisite chocolate petit gateau and a tasty lemoncake with ice cream. The gateau was the best we have tasted in a while, in fact it was so good we ended up ordering another extra gateau.

A special compliment for the manager, she really made us feel very welcome and ensured everything ran very smoothly during our thoroughly enjoyable evening. I would definitely recommend visiting Mentes tapas and we will be coming...

We found this place randomly on our road trip and wow, what can I say… everything we ate was delicious, food is prepared with a great eye for detail. We tried several different Tapas and really all of them were really tasty, with just the perfect amount of seasoning. They also cater to vegetarians. The falafel came sitting on a bed of arugula and while not the main part of the dish, even the arugula came with a dressing and some herbs (and not just the plain leaves). We followed the staffs recommendation and tried the Sangria which was delicious as well. The service is friendly and attentive. We were really surprised to find such a gem in this location but I would definitely take the detour again to eat here. Thanks guys and...

We went there in their opening week for a lovely tapas dinner. We shared a couple of dishes and all of them were delicious! The friendly staff helped us choosing the right Portuguese wine for our dinner and mixed us great cocktails at the end of the night. All in all it was a great experience in a nice Ambiente.
