Got seated with no reservation, oceanview. Only good thing during our experience. Table of 4, we asked for water first thing, took half an hour, then we gave our order of 4 soups, four entres, and 4 beers. Half hour later, we finally got the soup, lukewarm. Still waiting on the beers. Hour later we get our entres, no beers. Asked for ketchup twice, nothing. Had to get walk to counter to ask for some. Finally got some, while I was up, asked for our beers, was told to "not worry about it." Told them that we were almost finished our entres with not drinks!!!!!! WTH. Then we finally get 1 beer and told that keg was not working. We then opted for another option of beers. By the time we got them, entres were done. No one came back to the table to ask if needed anything or if we wanted dessert or coffee. No one came with the bill. After another excrutiating 1/h hour, we all got up and had to pay the bill at the counter. NO TIP WAS LEFT. Awful experience, wasted time and money. The nice gentleman at the cash, took off price for the 4 beers and understand why we were upset. If you still choose to go to this...
Read moreThe location and setting is wonderful with sunset view on breaking ocean waves. Staff is great. Service is fast. Its a bit overpriced. Small drink sizes. Didnt care for the marinated octopus, kind of tasteless. And they shouldnt be serving octopi. The garlic bread was the BEST, the fish soup had a tasty broth but the ingredients didnt add up. Three small bites of fish wth vermicelli and some shredded carrots for 8€! That price did not match what we got for sure. More fish and bigger veggie chunks! The grilled barracuda, potatoes and veggies were amazing however not enough veggies! For two we each had half a barracuda filet, lots of potatoes and a tiny handful of veggies! More veggies please!!!! Lemon tart dessert in a jar was great and served in an original Way. Was probably over 100€ for this meal. Next door at Borda d’Agua similar meal would be half the price. But without the view and clean ambiance. And dessert. And the quality of the veggies aNd potatoes was nice, just not enough veggies! Hope the chef is...
Read moreThe food is fantastic, we had our best dinner here! The fish is caught during the day and prepared for dinner. My husband and son went up to the fish counter to choose what kind of fish. The man behind the counter was super nice, and explained what the different fish were, what they tasted like. We tried two catches of the day (tuna & parrotfish) and had another fish filleted. The appetizers were fabulous as well. Particular shout out to the mussels, which were in such an amazing sauce! Portions were large, and the views were incredible, you're right on the water. Overall, an amazing dinner!! (The photo of the food doesn't do justice to how large the platter is - the serving utensils were oversized also!) The only downside for us was it was our last night on the island, so we couldn't...
