I have spent many nights at Chrissy's with excellent food and service. I have arranged social gatherings there for some 30 people more than once and recommended the restaurant to many people over the years. So imagine my surprise when last Friday I queried my wine bill. Put simply, I ordered from the set menu which included house wine but chose a separate wine from their wine list. I was charged the full amount of the set menu plus the full amount of the different wine! I hadn't realised at the time of my query but I was offered a bottle of house wine to take home but what's the point of that when I'd already declined it in the restaurant! Unlike some places where dietary requirements seem an afterthought, you could tell a LOT of love went into the vegan dish. The desserts were off the scale too. Outside of the kitchen I have to give a shout out to the proprietor Pedro who, aside from being passionate about great food and being a natural on front of house, was an absolute lovely guy all round. Felt very welcome and looked after in his presence. Also don't worry about translation issues as there didn't seem to be a language he couldn't speak fluently haha. Fully...

Starters: mushrooms stuffed with goats cheese., quail with cheese, bacon and red currant sauce. Mains: I had the Sole fillets., husband had Duck magret. We were so full, we couldn't managed dessert. But we did have two large coffees. The total bill was 74 euros. Outstanding chef. Waitering staff polite and friendly....
