This Italian spot is really worth it! It was just a 3-minute walk from our Airbnb, so we decided to try their takeout service one evening. While waiting for our food, we had a drink on the terrace and the sangria was amazing! Not too sweet, not too dry, and packed with fresh fruit. They definitely know how to make it right.

The food was ready very quickly…. maybe a little too fast, because one of our friends was still back at the apartment waiting. We almost regretted not staying to eat there instead!

Next time, I’d definitely choose to dine in. The staff was super friendly, the food was fresh and tasty, and the prices were fair. The gnocchi with creamy sauce was honestly a 10/10. I could eat it more than once, easily. One of us had the bolognaise and thought it could use a bit more herbs, but it was still a solid, classic dish made fresh, just like you’d expect.

Do not recommend going on a Sunday at 20:00. Was packed and they were understaffed to add to the problem. After being shown a table and given menus, we waited 20 mins before we could even order drinks. We did ask after 10mins but they said another table was waiting to order Infront of us. The guy that served us turned around half way through us ordering to speak to colleagues, then went away once to come back and take the order again. Just a mess.

After ordering, it took 50 mins for our food to come. In this time they didn't provide any bread or olives, and our 4 yr old daughter was getting real tired and hungry.

Asked for medium steak which came rare. The lady apologised and changed it quickly. She was very friendly and warm, even apologizing when we left for the long waiting time.

Still, no shot, desert or anything 'on the house' which is common elsewhere.

As good as the food was (4/5 star) we still would...

We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary here and without the staff knowing it, they served us the most delightful meal and treated us extremely well. My husband had the Portuguese steak wrapped in prosciutto and I had thai veal with a wonderful mushroom wine sauce. Their menu is very versatile for any budget as well as any pallet. I would recommend this place highly. We will definitely be going back there. And as far as the service goes, the attention to detail was great.
