BEST ENSOPADO BORREGO Have dined here twice now, once to order take away duck rice and grilled chicken and another to dine in. My wife is a duck rice fanatic and she thought the duck rice here was very good. I ordered mild piri piri grilled chicken as my wife can’t take the heat. My daughter thought more piri piri was needed but we all agreed the grilled chicken was one of the better ones you can get in Lagos. Dining in we had the grilled bacalhau with boiled potatoes, ensopado de borrego (lamb stew) with a side of fries, and soup. Everything was very good. The lamb stew was particularly fantastic! I’m making this one of my regular go-to places to order when my wife doesn’t want to cook. Very clean and a relatively nice view from the 2nd floor dining area....

It was a bad choice! We almost distryed our night.. We ordered a Sangria (it was supposed to be a 1L, but they brought us a cap full of ice and fruits and just 2 glasses of Sangria). When we told to the lady that is not 1L she was very offended about it, like we were missbehaved there. Then she brought us another half a liter. We also orderd a traditional portuguese food that was supposed to be with duck meat, but it wasn’t. My boyfriend orderd ribs and that was the most meatless ribs we have ever seen. GO here....I walked 20 mins out of the center in the rain twice in two days to eat here...it's run by a very sweet Portugese family in a neighborhood that get's no tourists....MOST of the places in lagos centre these days are only aimed at tourists....this is the opposite....and authentic...Very generous lamb portions and...
