Overall not a great service / their credit card machine was down and they insisted we use the ATM, knowing full well it would charge us fees (on top of banking fees for using an ATM that is not our bank).
We had to push back several times until the restaurant agreed to comp the fee. Overall a poor experience as by default, restaurants should have a solution in place for when their credit card machine doesn’t work that doesn’t harm the customer. They kept saying it wasn’t their fault but the banks which I understand, but ultimately I shouldn’t be paying $5 for the ATM + forex just bc the bank they bank with doesn’t work…… And restaurants really should by default have a solution that works for the customer. The customer shouldn’t take a hit just bc of something out of our control - we had to push back for +45 mins until the restaurant to agree to comp the fees. It really ruined our evening as we had plans later that we now cannot attend to
Overall not a great experience although the food is very good. Recommend customers to come wish cash to avoid this. Recommend the restaurant to find a solution that works for...
Read moreBusy restaurant specialized in pizza. As such, their ovens are non-stop working, raising temperatures inside the restaurant. Both back and front doors are wide open to generate an air flow and a portable air-con is functioning to compensate the very high temperatures, but not very successfully in the warmer summer days. Outdoor sitting is available at the back, facing a well kept back green "square", but very limited and reservations are advised (for both indoors and outdoors). The restaurant is sought by both big groups and families, and acoustics aren't the most efficient in smothering the decibels of these noisy crowds.
Pizzas come in three sizes. 30, 50 and 100 cm, and have a rectangular form. Multiple flavours can be chosen in each pizza (ie half margherita and half diavola, 100cm pizza allowing up to 4 flavours?). The dough is thin and crusty, taste is good and gets served rather quickly. Super convenient for a quick bite if one is on the clock (as was my case).
There aren't many drinking options besides sangrias, wines and sodas. There could have some house ice teas, for example.
