Good quality fish. Quick service. Affordable price.

The rice for the sushi was a little too sweet and a few times we had to wait a bit for someone to attend our table. But the food would come really quick. The butter fish actually tasted like butter which is not common for some reason. Gyoza was not great though. Sushi was a little inconsistent, some had more rice, other more fish.

Finally the day was sunny on 14th March 2025 and we decided to head to visit Lamego for the day and have our lunch at Hime Sushi. The place soon got busier than we thought which was nice as it deserves the trade. Confesso que não ia com muitas expectativas, mas este restaurante conseguiu superá-las.

O sushi é bom – não é muito variado nem sofisticado, mas cumpre bem. O temaki estava bastante saboroso, com o nori crocante como se espera. As gyozas surpreenderam pela qualidade, muito saborosas, e as peças com camarão panado estavam no ponto: crocantes e frescas. No geral, a experiência foi positiva.

O único ponto negativo é o menu, que achei confuso. A lista apresenta a descrição da peça com o respetivo número, mas a imagem seguinte não corresponde a esse número. Além disso, em várias partes aparece o título “Temaki”, mas o que vem logo abaixo não é temaki, e sim outra coisa qualquer. Seria bem mais fácil se fosse apenas um menu ilustrativo com imagens e números correspondentes, ou então num formato digital, como é comum em restaurantes...
