A Nave — Restaurant in Lamego

After many closed places on a Saturday night, a local guided us to this traditional place PACKED with locals and no tourists.. And no English ;) . Huge, tasty portions for very good value: 450 gr veal steak medium-rare with salad, rice and fries for 8 Euro. Small bottle of beer was 1 Euro, a bottle of vino verde 5 Euro. Super sweet staff with no English - but we made it work with lots of laughter. She wisely stopped us from ordering the full portion and recommended only the half portions. No vegetarian options as far as we could tell from the Portuguese - only menu. By the way, the homemade spicy piri piri is...

Not a nice customer experience, I didn't enjoy eating here.. I wanted the soup of the day because I wasn't that hungry but I was strongly persuaded from the waitress to order a main meal & I should of really walked out, food was okay, a bit tasteless, paid...

Até hoje não tinha nada a dizer deste local, mas a partir de hoje perderam um cliente. Fui buscar 1dose de picanha e deram me batatas aos cubos já duras supostamente batatas a mais do meio dia que sobraram, pois ao meio dia fui lá almoçar e o empadão de carne tinha das mesmas batatas. Ainda para mais não foram capazes de admitir o erro, ainda estavam com a razão toda tanto o senhor que está ao balcão como a menina que estava a servir a mesa a noite. E disseram veja as batatas que estão a sair agora, e a olho nu dava para ver bem a diferença. Ainda tentaram disfarçar ao colocar a carne por cima das batatas mas estavam todas encolhidas e...
