One star rating because our short visit there went something like this: the bar attendant greeted us with a friendly "Don't sit there , it is reserved", although only two more tables were occupied in the whole room. Not a problem so far - chose another table, browsed the menu and went to the bar. There already were two persons there, so I waited for them to finish their order. But then two more came in, and then a few more, and I found myself waiting while the person behind the bar was very patiently guiding the whole six or seven of them through, probably, the whole range of beers. So, after about 15 minutes of this, we decided to leave. Now I wouldn't have given the incident any attention, as this was the only less pleasent experience in a week-long stay in Lisbon, but we were in the neighbourhood especially to try this place , and it isn't exactly on the tourist...

So, we went to our first craft brewery in Lisbon last night......HORRIBLE!! A pain to get to, beer was skunky (lines weren't cleaned out), food was poor and expensive, and it was in a bad part of town. YYUUCCHH, only good news was that it was in a bad part of town and it was hard to get to--WE WONT EVER BE BACK!! So bad I started to look at another option before I gave up!! Today we went to Dois Corvos, and my faith is renewed !! Beer is good, walking distance (for us Europeans anyway*, you Americans may have to drive), food is excellent, and they are playing classic rock. …and Sergio was great, just met him today but he treated us like old friends. Lisbon is a great place to drink beer, Dois Corvos has a warehouse to taste, discover and have a great experiences with craft beer.
