Having taken most of the day to relax & recover, I was ready to eat! Reminiscing about how my BFF & I found a Chinese restaurant in every city we went to when we backpacked across Europe, my husband I decided to find one in Lisbon.
Luckily we didn't have to go far as there was one attached to our hotel. Hao-Hua wasn't too busy, but it had a lot of tables in a small space so even with a few big tables full of people they still seemed to have plenty of room.
We started with Chinese crepes - aka egg rolls. But these weren't your standard American-Chinese egg roll. They were a little wider & flatter. Truly more like a fried crepe. The standard filling of veggies provided a nice starter to our meal. For my main dish I went with the lo mein & my husband ordered the frog's legs. The lo mein was good, but nothing special. Read moreHal Hua is right next to the Radisson Blu , Lisbon. Our group of 4 felt like some Chinese Food for lunch, and seeing a crowd of people dressed in Radisson uniforms go into Hao Hua , we followed. We found the restaurant to be spacious with Chinese decor and quietly piped in Chinese melodies. The menu was extensive and had something for even the fussiest eater. Having asked the friendly waiters advice, we ordered 4 dishes ( prawn, chicken, duck and also pork ) . They were all delicious, tasty and LARGE portions. Our flights are booked for tomorrow but we’ll be back at the Hao Hua Restaurant tonight for our ”Farewell” supper. Great value for money, delicious tasty dishes,...

I ordered through Uber Eats, and everything arrived hot. However, the packaging left a bit to be desired. The hot items, like the crepe and fried banana, were packed in a plastic container, which made them soggy and leaky. Unfortunately, the crispy texture I was expecting was lost. Despite the packaging issues, the flavors were on point. With a bit of tweaking to their packaging, Hao Hua could really shine. For now, I'd still recommend giving them a try, just maybe with some adjustments to how they handle hot and...
