Honestly so bad service, do not come here!

We were eating dinner at their restaurant one evening - the food was great and the service was totally fine. Only exception was that they charged us for tap water. The waiter asked if we wanted bottled water or free tap water - we said tap water. Then they charged us for bottled water any way… they would not admit that they made the mistake and they would not remove the cost.

During our dinner visit we asked the staff about their sunbeds. Since this is a beach club we thought we might come here during the day. The staff told us that If we booked sunbeds we would get free Towels and we would be able to use their shower to wash off salt water. We were leaving Portugal on a Saturday and our flight would leave in the evening. Therefore we wanted to stay at a beach club during the day. We asked if we could book the sun beds during that saturday when we were leaving Portugal and asked if we could store our luggage in their storage room. We could store the luggage which was very nice. But When we got there we were informed that towels cost extra. This is annoying since we had packed our towels in our luggage and since we were promised towels when we booked the beds. Then we ask about the shower (since we want to shower and get rid of salt water before flying home) but they informed us that the shower is not working - which was weird since we specifically asked about the shower. The shower was a requisite for us to buy these sun beds and apparently the shower had not worked at all during the summer. Why would they tell us they have a working shower when it is a straight up lie?? So now we were at this expensive beach club and we would not get any towels or be able to shower after the beach… It was very annoying that they informed us they had both of these necessities and then it just turned out to be a lie? We would have liked to go else where (for example Puro Beach who was just five minutes away) if they could not provide what we wanted. We paid a lot of money for a four-people sunbed and two single sunbeds. and We asked if we could get some sort of discount since we did not receive what we booked. But they refused, they would not even offer a free water for the discomfort.

We thought this was very bad service and I would not recommend to come to this place. Also they had the audacity to complain that we went to the bathroom in a bikini (please note that the restroom was not inside the restaurant. It was outside). I think that you should able to use the bathroom in a bikini (at a beach club??) if you rent one of their...

Beautiful building and a fantastic setting. Fun and creative cocktails. Cheap beer. Appalling food that was very expensive, and not great service.

It's a shame, this place has so much potential. The menu looks incredible and is priced as a high end restaurant, so you expect a good quality. I ordered a shrimp cocktail salad for my main, which came in a bowl with 90% lettuce leaves (some of which were wilted / gone off) and a small amount of other ingredients. The prawns and strawberries were nice and tasted fresh. The cocktail sauce tasted of little other than mayonnaise and there was so much covering all the salad that I couldn't eat it. I started feeling a bit queasy half way through and had to give up. My partner had pork cheeks. The meat was cooked well, but not at all seasoned. We had a side of truffle sweet potato which was incredibly bland, again not finished, which is very out of character for me.

The cocktails were fun and creative, but poor quality. The service was not great. The restaurant wasn't even 25% full and despite there being lots of staff, it was hard work getting any attention. The staff were perfectly friendly, but we had to wait a long time to be seated (we ended up seating ourselves as there were so many free tables); and we had to get up and chase the waiters/waitress a number of times to take our orders of food and drink. One of the waitresses was particularly helpful once we had her attention, and she apologised that we were unhappy with the food at the end of the night, but there was a lot of waiting around and no consessions were made for the fact that I felt unable to eat any of the food I was served. We decided to spend our date-night at this bar and enjoy some music and good food. Unfortunately it ended in a big disappointment. The bar was fully crowded which is normal for August and we already expected it to be like this. But normally the waiters should be prepared for these amounts of people. But it didn't seem like it. They were really disorganized. We ordered Sushi, but since we both are vegetarians (we don't eat fish and meat) we made clear that we would like to trade the fish for other vegetarian options. The waitress got the order and assured us that it wouldn't be any problem. She would tell the Sushi man to make us vegetarian Sushi. We waited about one hour for our 16 pieces of Sushi and when we started eating we both noticed that there was salmon in it. And also the other sushi pieces we ordered were different from what we pretended. Of course we immediately told them about their mistake and they told us they would do it again and bring us new sushi. Their apologize didn't seem really honest. It's not that they brought us pineapple instead of orange, the mistake is THAT THEY BROUGHT FISH FOR VEGETARIAN PEOPLE. It would be great if the waiters would give more attention to what the client wants and treat it with respect. Of course there are mistakes that can happen, we are all human and it was really full. But still, these special orders should be taken care off. It could be a big disaster if for example a diabetic person asks for coke-zero and they would serve normal coke.
